Journey to Athens: live report. Sunny Athens

In the morning we went to the center of Athens to the Acropolis metro station. We examined the ruins of Olympian Zeus temple, only columns remained of it, but at one time this building was very significant. Nearby is the arch of the Roman emperor Hadrian. Traces of excavations are visible everywhere. It should be noted that there is no trade and no barbecue near the monuments, but in Yalta, right at the walls of Livadia Palace, there are stalls with various souvenir nonsense.

Those who like to travel by car usually book a car in Greece online in advance. In Athens Airport, renting a compact car will cost from 16 euros per day, and in Heraklion Airport a little more expensive - from 18 euros per day. Prices may vary depending on the season, car class and rental period.

There is a restaurant in the building for the royal servants. But the Greeks don’t think of frying chebureks near the Parthenon, thank God. Near the Acropolis station, the shopping streets of the Plaka district, here you can buy amphorae of various types and sizes, figurines of Greek gods, natural sponges, olive oil and much more. The Greeks recommend that you anoint your hair with olive oil, but you can add some other ingredients to olive oil.

To keep your hair healthy, shiny and fluffy, you need to take care of it regularly. It doesn't have to be expensive, you can find all the ingredients in your kitchen to pamper your hair. Homemade hair masks can be of the most diverse composition, but to see the result you need to apply them regularly. If you have a banana at home, crush it into a pulp with a fork, add a spoonful of honey and an egg yolk. Apply the mixture to your hair, wrap it with a towel and rinse with shampoo after an hour.

Anyway, back to Athens. In the afternoon after visiting Plaka, I had to rest, so we arrived at the Keramikos Museum just ten minutes before it closed, the museum closes exactly at seventeen o'clock - a siesta is a siesta and it is not particularly customary to process here, however, souvenirs on Plaka and Monastiraki are sold until late at night.
