Several brands, including Europcar, Avis and Enterprise, are based at the South Terminal forecourts; others work from the Sofitel at the North Terminal or the Hilton at the South Terminal. A handful of independent firms are off-airport in Crawley and Horley. The free shuttle train links the two terminals, and every offer states its pick-up type.
